In the worst case scenario, the blood vessels become so awakened with LDL cholesterol that your arteries can close completely. When this happens, your heart is basically panicked because it does not get the blood it needs and starts to beat fast to try to pump blood. This causes a heart attack.

You can also have a heart attack from LDL cholesterol that builds up if a piece of buildup, called plaque, breaks and floats in the bloodstream. When it reaches the smaller part of the blood vessels, it gets trapped and blocks the blood, which again causes a heart attack. If a piece of plaque moves to the brain and not in the heart, it will cause a blockage in this area of ​​the body, which in turn causes a stroke.
